Some Representative Pieces and Favorites from the past

Favorites:
A "Favorite" is a piece which because of some aspect(s) is more ambitious, unusual, or difficult to reproduce than some others, usually because of rairity or uniqueness of materials involved. Still, I want to take the time to show this type of work. Others that (at the moment anyway) are easier to recreate [similar pieces] are listed under "Representative"; all are in Sterling Silver unless otherwise noted.

Fibonacci Necklace One: 20 Herkimer Diamonds & 5 Garnets

This is the first "Fibonacci" necklace I made, this is the only photo I have of it. It is made with 20 very high quality or Flawless Herkimer Diamond Quartz Crystals of between 3/8ths and 3/4ths+ inches, one large faceted Garnet and four faceted Garnet beads. All of the Crystals are "faced" out, that is there is both a shirt-side down and a facing-out side, the facing out side is the one pictured where the table of the Garnet facet shows. This is designed to be clasped at any portion along the front, sometimes making it a "Y" shaped necklace.

"Microchosm"

The Major componants of this piece are a Green-Blue Tourmaline crystal and a faceted Tanzanite, with an Emerald crystal and faceted Benitoite set upon the face, also an Opal and Herkimer Diamond accent. This is the only usable photo I can find of this at the moment; at 0.05 carats (0.01 grams) the Benitoite facet here is the smallest stone I've wrapped (that I know of).

Golden Rutilated Quartz Healing Wand with Mexican Amber in 18K Gold

I just love the combination of Gold, Gold & Gold here...

Three Tourmalines & Five Herkimers

This piece features Two Tourmaline crystals and a Watermelon Tourmaline crystal slice all set together with five Herkimer Diamond Quartz Crystal accents, I don't have exact measurements but remember it at about 1-1/2 inches long total.

Topaz and Tanzanite in 18K Gold

Pretty, simple & straightforward, two strikingly different and yet similar Lavender gems together in 18 karat Gold.

Green Quartz Crystal (Seraphos, Greece), with Pink Tourmaine and Herkimer Diamond Accents

This one really is one of my favorites, though I have now wrapped a number of these Seraphos crystals and I really like them all, there's just something about the fading green color of this one, and the contrast between this translucient green and the transparent Pink of the Tourmaline, between the sugar-coated quality of the Quartz and the glassy smooth shine of the tourmaline. I remember this as being one of the "8 of the last 10" I was thinking of when I wrote "Me & Pink & Green".

Original Lemurian Seed Crystal & Illinois Fluorite

This piece is really more of a "representative" piece than a favorite, but this visiting yellow-jacket has me posting it here. I have a thing for Bees, and honey (which btw never ever goes bad, not even in thousands of years), & though I know this little gal isn't a honey-bee I still appreciate a curious visitor.

Representative Pieces:
A "Representative" piece is one that can be reproduced to one degree or another, though most of the materials I use are of the same class as snowflakes: being crystals they are unique individuals, but similar pieces can be made.

Siberian Quartz Star of David with Moldavite and 3 Herkimer Diamonds

Herkimer Diamond Quartz Crystal Cluster with Moldavite & Opals

This piece features a fabulously bright, relatively large, high quality Herkimer Diamond Crystal cluster from Middleville, NY, together with a Faceted Moldavite Brilliant round cut of somewhere between 2.5 & 3 carats.
The large Herkimer on the cluster is 13/16ths of an inch from point to point, this cluster is amasingly clear and bright for its size. From top to bottom the piece is 1 7/8ths inches long.
Within the wire "prongs" that hold the Moldavite are set Opal Accents for a little extra color and livelyness.
(The white background photos are a little washed-out, sorry for that but I took these photos in the desert and the sun there is a little brighter!)

Moldavite with 3 Herkimer Diamonds & 2 Opal accents

The Moldavite specimen featured in this piece measures 1 1/4 inches long, while the Largest Herkimer is about 7/16ths (nealy half) of an inch. The smaller Herkimers and the Opals are about 1/4 inches and the whole pendant just under 2 1/4 inches.

1/2 Inch+ Herkimer Diamonds in 18 karat Gold Earrings

These very high quality (probably flawless, definately close too it, but it's been a while since I took the photo...) 1/2 inch+ Herkimer Diamond Quartz Crystals are wrapped in 18 karat Gold and hung on 14 karat Gold clasping (lever-back) earwires.

12-Sided Quartz Crystal Healing Wand(s) with Faceted Moldavite & Herkimer Diamond Accents

In these pieces I have set between 1 and 2 carat Moldavite Facets from Czechoslovakia over the receiving end of Quartz Crystal Wands. Nestled within the sterling silver wire "prongs" that hold the faceted Moldavite in each piece, there are two, small AAA fine Herkimer Diamond quartz crystals just for extra zing & sparkle.

Some other Variations of this design:

Lemurian and Fluorite Pendants

These are an assortment of what I call Original Lemurina Seed Crystals, set together with different colors of Fluorite Octahedrons from Cave in Rick, Illinois, some w/ pyrite incusions.
